The Vibe loophole series was created to bring more “Vibe” to your tracks. None of the loops build in this series are “traditional” acoustic drum loops. Down Tempo Grooves (DOD Vol. >15) was inspired ~ means of both a sound and playing technique. The playing approach is minimalistic. Simple fills and grooves at tempos between 40-105 BPM. This approach gives the user a great deal of short time to play with and room for the sounds to develop and “tell.” Down-tempo grooves features a very soft playing style. Massive amounts of tape pithiness were used to “gain” the drums back up to a erect volume. The end result are drum tracks that have an “in your confront wet punch” with the sound of smooth tape compression. A kick tympanum with great low end makes these loops a perfect match according to Soul, RnB, Hip Hop, Pop Ballads, Retro, etc. You’ll strong attachment the sound and find a ton of uses for “Down-time Grooves.
