Ahoy,mateys! Disney be showin off their newest levels for t upcominswashbucklin action game, Disney Universe. Arr, ya landlubbers, getready for a high flyin adventure on the seven seas!

Ahem, erf, sorry. I cant keep that up for a whole article.

Playersstart their Disney Universe adventure in the world of Pirates of theCaribbean. The world is based around the fourth film in the series,taking you from the streets of London, to the deck of the Queen Anne,all the way to the Fountain of Youth. All the worlds in Disney Universehave a different vibe, and for Pirates, youre going to see a whole lotof cannons, swordfighting, and, well, zombies (yeah, there are zombiesin this Disney game).

During the levels players will have tobuild cannons, shoot down pirate ships, attack mermaids, put out fires,become the undead, and avoid deadly traps. There are powerups (good andbad!), weapon upgrades, and collectibles, too.

Disney Universefeels very familiar if youve played LEGO games, or Little Big Planet,but its also very unique. The game throws a competitive aspect into it,ranking you based on collectibles, enemies killed, and other factors.You can even set up a playlist of different levels to run through withfriends. Maybe you want to do a tournament of boss battles, or hit everymovie level all in one go. You can do that.

And if youre aDisney fan (holla!), the costumes, weapons and levels are awesome. Thecharacters are freaking adorable, the enemies are all themed around theworlds theyre in, and the aesthetics match the visual styles of all thefilms. One of the cooler parts is the music. Each world featuresremixed tracks from the films, creating familiar, but brand new tracks.

Fromwhat Ive seen so far, this is shaping up to be one of Disneys coolestgames. The homages in the costumes, worlds, and music makes it a Disneyfans dream. There are numerous cool things Im not allowed to tell youabout that have got me so excited for the game (my favorite Disneycharacter ever has a costume, and Ive NEVER seen that in a gamebefore).
