In November 1958, in Palo Alto (California, USA), members of the research group of Gregory Bateson's demonstration was recorded interview. Gregory Bateson was in the room and worked with the camera, while others, including John Wikland, watched from behind a one-sided mirror. It was the second session Dr. Erickson with a young man who sought help for depression.
